“Getting Fit. . . One Step at a Time”
Thermography was created decades ago to map the heat from an enemy missile that might be approaching the United States. It has been used for body imaging by chiropractors since the 1970s. Besides abnormal cell growth, thermal imagining detects other patterns in the breasts like concentrations of excess estrogen, which can also cause cancer. The body has natural receptors in the body for elements like estrogen, in the breasts, and mercury in the thyroid.

Both men and women can get breast cancer. Although male breast cancer is rare, an estimated 1,910 men were diagnosed in 2009 [92]. The lifetime risk of breast cancer for women is 1 in 8 and 1 in 1000 for men [92]. Prognosis for breast cancer in men is similar to that of breast cancer in women of the same age and cancer stage (more on cancer stage) [139,140]. For men, tumors most often occur under the nipple.
The medical treatments for male breast cancer are similar to those for female breast cancer. Since most male breast cancers are hormone receptor-positive it is important to follow the same program as in our Pro-Active Breast Health Program; looking at hormones and avoiding environmental xeno estrogens.
I-3-C Indole-3-carbinol is an anti-cancer phytonutrient found in cruciferous vegetables. Research has shown that I3C helps to breakdown cancer-causing estrogens to non-toxic forms. I3C maintains a healthy cervix, protects against HPV cervical lesions and controls abnormal cell growth found in those with uterine fibroids and endometriosis. It can also be found in Cruciferous veggies, lik
e broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and brussel sprouts. DIM is a break-down product of I3C and forms naturally in the stomach when I3C is ingested.
