Homeopathic Medicines
Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that uses highly diluted doses of substances to stimulate the body’s own healing system. The medicine, commonly referred to as remedies, work with the body’s curative responses to heal itself.
Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine and is presently in the process of being re-regulated in Ontario as a primary health-care option.
Homeopathy recognizes that all signs and symptoms of health are expressions of dis-ease within the whole person and it is the PATIENT who needs treatment, not the disorder.
Clinical Experience along with 1000’s of peer-reviewed basic science and pre-clinical and clinical studies confirm Homeopathy’s Safety and Effectiveness (e.g. treatment of cholera, India in 1830, Spanish Influenza of 1918, Leptospirosis, Cuba 2009). Homeopathy has a long history in Canada as it was a regulated profession under the Ontario Medical Act from 1869 to 1970. The resurgence of Homeopathy as a primary care option has resulted int he HOMEOPATHY ACT, 2007 which has been established under Ontario’s Regulated Health Profession Act, 1991.
When you are ill or out of balance your body will produce symptoms, which is how we recognize that something is wrong and that the body is actively working to heal itself. We have a natural “internal regulator” which is a mechanism that works to keep the body in balance – or in a state of homeostasis.
Cindy Simmons is a Homeopathic Practitioner and would be glad to discuss either your Acute or Chronic health conditions.
