Comments from clients about Thermography

Friday, May 13, 2011 @ 08:05 AM

“Breast Thermography gives me a baseline and a way t monitor future body changes.”

“Thermography gives me a certain level of control and participation in my level of health. Also, a safer, painless alternative to mammography. – it alerts me to the changes in my breast tissue, hopefully prior to any really harmful development of tumors”

“I was delighted with my experience of thermography. It was handled with total professionalism and care. It was easy, safe and non invasive. I was made completely comfortable. Thermography provides me with a safe, non invasive, easy way to monitor the health of my breasts and provide feedback if changes are required.”

“Cynthia explained not only the report of the thermogram but also gave suggestions on improving my eating habits explaining to me the benefits it will have on my breast tissue.”

“I was totally excited about this approach to monitoring my breasts. It is so much safer than mammography especially as a screening device.  I understand it does not replace mammography but it allows one to be proactive in my own care. Should the report show increase activity then lifestyle changes are necessary and a mammogram may be required at that point.”

Digestive Health

Wednesday, April 27, 2011 @ 04:04 PM

Is your colon making your sick?

The gut is responsible for the processing of the food we eat and absorbing the nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed for the body to function properly and keep healthy. Hormones and the nervous system coordinate digestion and absorption. Everyday factors such as poor diet, stress, illness and certain drugs can have a detrimental effect on the gut and can inhibit digestion. Stress is a normal part of life in today’s modern society however, problems arise when our lives cause an abnormal amount of stress, and one of the first parts of the body to react to stress is our digestive system.

Daily elimination of undigested food and other waste products is as important as proper digestion and absorption of food.  However, most people have difficulty with complete evacuation of the colon due to a variety of digestive imbalances.

DID YOU KNOW THAT GOOD BREAST HEALTH STARTS IN THE GUT?  ……..  IF YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM DOESNT WORK WELL, NOTHING WORKS WELL.
From a holistic perspective, women’s reproductive health is very dependent on digestive function and in order to regulate hormones, the digestion MUST be working well.

When the body is getting rid of excess estrogen, it goes out through the bowels. Excess estrogen is associated with fibroids, endometriosis, breast pain, fibrocystic breasts and breast cancer. If the bowels are not moving well, the estrogen gets reabsorbed and has to go thru the system all over again.

Your bowel movements should be daily, easy, and regular. This is a very important component of women’s reproductive health and the basis of all health.
